With 15+ years of leadership experience across nonprofits, international development, and workforce development, I’ve led teams through growth and change, advised executives and boards, and facilitated meetings at every level of an organization.
I also know what it’s like to be stretched thin while leading strategically. My own days filled with back-to-back meetings while strategic work moved into early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Over time, I learned to be more selective about which meetings I attended, set clearer objectives, design stronger agendas, and lead with more intention in the room. Those changes helped me reclaim time for strategic work and move beyond burnout. They also became the foundation of how I help leaders and organizations today. This is what I call leading through meetings.
